Hello!
My name is Magali, and I'm a London-based filmmaker. I have worked in the animation and VFX industry since 2008 on a range of projects (film, TV and commercials), specialising in layout, visualisation and animation.
A passionate storyteller, I wrote and directed my first short film STRANGE BEASTS, in 2017. Its success led to representation and encouraged me to write and direct my second short THIS TIME AWAY in 2019, starring Timothy Spall. It screened at over 50 festivals, won 8 international awards, and is now available to watch on Disney+.
Since then, I have balanced my work as a Visualisation Supervisor/Senior Artist with my narrative projects.
I simply love storytelling and the filmmaking process: the creative brainstorming, the craft, the problem-solving, the many challenges and, most of all, the human experience.
